| Irroy’s sire has the most outstanding kind, friendly, easy and relaxed character, a half brother to the great sire Caprimond. Gadsby’s
mother line has its roots in a very old proven black mare family of the Duke of Dohnas. His grandfather on the dam’s side is the very well known and famous sire Consul, a real founder of the modern dressage horse, not only in the Trakehner breed, but also in the Hanoverian and Oldenburg breed. Gadsby never covered a lot of mares, but his offspring is very welcome with the riders, as they are so easy to ride and have high talent for all sort of competition. Gadsby is for example the father of Isodora, supreme Champion of the national show 2001
in Germany. He himself is competing successfully up to Prix St.George and became a star due to his presentations in different TV-movies. Irroy’s dam Ich Bin is by the wonderful E.H sire Hohenstein. No other stallion within the last 30 years of breeding have had such an influence on the improvement of riding ability such as he has. This big black and beautiful son of E.H stallion Caprimond is a very well known dressage sire in the Hanoverian and Oldenburg breed. He became Premium stallion at his grading in 1993, Reserve Champion of his performance test and 3rd in the national German riding horse championship. Hohenstein is now competing successfully at Grand Prix in dressage. Sire of 13 graded sons in different breeds, among them the impressive Champion son Munchhausen, and a sire of many outstanding riding horses and many top priced horses at different auctions around the world. His dressage index of 145 establishes one of the top positions in the group of the most proven and successful dressage sires of all the German breeds. His dam Helena is a full sister to the grand Champion mares Hama, Harma and Havanna. Hohenstein is a Elite stallion, and was voted Trakehner Stallion of the year in 2003.
