Scaramouche’s Sire Arentino was competed in Prix St. George dressage and did also really well in show jumping. Arentino’s Sire Santiago by Wie Ibikus and out of the foundation mare Schwalbelied was Champion of his grading in 1980 and was a very substantial big framed grandson of the legendary stallion Ibikus, which went on to become a very good show jumper. Wie Ibikus himself produced a big number of high successful dressage horses competing up to Grand Prix. Santiago produced some outstanding broodmares and the value can be seen in his offspring’s competition results.

Arentino’s Dam E.St Arktis II presents herself as one of the more valuable broodmares of the Trakehner breed, being a full sister to the stallion Arogno, sire of the stallions Schwadroneur (now dead) and Anky’s stallion Partout. E.St Arktis’s offspring are doing well in 3-day eventing and dressage competing in Prix St. Georges.

Scaramouche’s Dam is a wonderful little mare, which has always bred some outstanding foals with good type and conformation and loads of movement. She is by the stallion HG Solomon which was awarded top British bred dressage sire of the year in 1998 and as a five year old gained 161 points in one season, qualifying for the national championship at Elementary level and winning at medium level in his one and only competition, as a six year old. Her dam Schakara was supreme champion at the TBF in hand in year 1992 and again in year 1996, she has bred some outstanding offspring now competing at medium and advanced medium. She has also had many champions show in hand at the TBF. Serene herself was reserve champion young stock at the TBF show and this wonderful mare is sure to bred many champions herself

This wonderful little chap is not going to be a very big boy so would suit the smaller rider.

Scaramouche emigrated to New Zealand in 2006.
